Spanish Course Isla Margarita March 2018

Studying Spanish at CELA is a very homy and unique experience that I won´t forget. I fell in love with the school and especially the professional teachers. Sabine, the owner of the school has a PhD in linguistics and knows how to teach Spanish in a fun, effective and easy understandable way. I am a well traveled flight attendant, very aware of the current political as well as economical situation in Venezuela and I can assure that I didn´t feel significant differences concerning my safety in comparison to other South American countries. The situation here is far away from how it is portrayed in the media. The school staff helped me to find convenient flights from Caracas and had an open ear to any concern I had. Sabine took her precious time and showed me around the island, she even prepaired yummy lunches every day in the school owned kitchen. Thank you so much for that! Special thanks as well to Nati, my current teacher. She explained me a lot about Venezuelan culture and the current situation that is a way more complex then "dangerous, don´t go there". Nati gave me lots of helpful tips about things to do and nightlife on the island. I am attending classes at CELA for the past 3 years now and I will continue to come back! Muchas gracias. Lukas

Disfrutar la vida en Venezuela

Viajé a la Isla Margarita en Venezuela para estudiar español dos semanas ("Bildungsurlaub") en la escuela CELA en La Asuncion. Podía disfrutar mi tiempo mucho porque aprendía español por la mañana y practicaba kitesurfing por la tarde. La combinación era muy divertido! Aunque son dos lugares diferentes (La Asunción y Playa El Yaque), podía vivir en El Yaque y todos los días tomaba un taxi para ir a la escuela (30 minutos, solo 2-3 dólares para ida).

La escuela es muy profesional, las maestras son muy buenas y súper simpáticas y todo está organizado perfectamente. Ya que es una escuela pequeña, podía tener la clase solo - mi maestra solo para mí. Era perfecto para aprender la lengua. La escuela está confirmada como un instituto para hacer "Bildungsurlaub".

Además, la vida en Margarita es bastante segura y mucho más seguro que ciudades grandes en Latinoamérica, por ejemplo Caracas, Bogotá, Guatemala Ciudad etcétera. Por supuesto, necesitas evitar caminar en Porlamar, la más grande ciudad en Margarita, por la noche etcétera. Creo que está claro. El Yaque es totalmente seguro durante el día y la noche!

En general, no falta nada en la isla. Al contrario, comida está completamente suficiente y tienes muchas posibilidades porque todo es muy económico. Entonces,  puedo recomendar estudiar español en CELA ciento por cientos! Ven a Venezuela!

Enjoy life in Venezuela

For the sake of studying Spanish I traveled to Isla Margarita in Venezuela and have attended the language school CELA for two weeks ("Bildungsurlaub"). I really enjoyed my time here as I managed to learn Spanish in the morning and kitesurfing in the afternoon. What a great combination! Even though the language school in La Asunción and the kite school in Playa El Yaque are a bit far away from each other, there is a way of making it work: live in El Yaque and take a taxi every morning to the school which only takes 30 minutes and costs just 2-3 dollars one way.

CELA absolutely serves as great learning place as it is professional, employs great teachers and organizes everything perfectly. Since it is a quite small school, you can be lucky and have classes for yourself - just you and your teacher. I call this the perfect setting to learn. Also, it is accepted as institution for the program "Bildungsurlaub" in Germany.

It needs to be said that the security on the island is quite good and much better than in most big cities in Latin America. As a matter of fact, you need to be cautious in the more urban locations on the island and at night - but I guess that is quite clear. I lived in El Yaque for the kitesurfing and felt super safe at both day and night.

In contrast to some rumors, there is no shortage of goods especially food on the island. On the contrary, there is delicious food, great nature and lovely people. I can fully recommend spending time on Margarita and studying Spanish at CELA. Get your backpack ready and come to Venezuela!

Mi experiencia en Venezuela

Quiero compartir mi experiencia en buena Venezuela. Sin exageracion estos dos meses eran lo mejor tiempo de mi vida y completamente inolvidable con comida asombrosa, la gente muy simpatico y la naturalesa pintoresca de isla. Me siente muy comodo todo el tiempo como en mi familia. Todos eran bien organizado - desde primeros minutos en el aeropuerto: la reunion y la transferencia, y las clases de espanol eran equilibrado para lograr el mejor resultado. Finalmente despues dos meses puedo comprender y hablar espanol. Muchos gracias para Sabine por su trabajo grande!

I want to share my experience in beautiful Venezuela. Without exaggeration those two months were the best time of my life and completly unforgettable with amazing food, very friendly people and the picturesque nature of island. All the time I felt as I was with my family. Everything there were well-organized - since my first minutes at the airport: meeting and transfer to the host-family, and the clases of Spanish which were individually well adjusted for got the best result. Finally after two months I am able to understand and speak Spanish. And I want to say many thanks to Sabine for her great work!

Хочу поделиться моим опытом в прекраснейшей Венесуэле. Без преувеличения могу сказать что эти два месяца были самым лучшим периодом моей жизни, которые я никогда не забуду. Вкуснейшая еда, очень дружелюбные люди и красивейшая природа острова! Все это время я как-будто находился в своей семье. Все было очень хорошо организовано - с первых минут в аэропорту включая встречу и трансфер до места проживания, и заканчивая уроками испанского, которые можно сказать составляются индивидуально под студентов чтобы добиться максимального прогресса. В итоге спустя два месяца я могу понимать и говорить на испанском. Огромное спасибо Сабине за ее огромную работу!!!

Spanisch auf der Isla Margarita

Insgesamt 8 Wochen verbrachte ich in meiner Gastfamilie und in der Schule auf Margarita. In dieser Zeit hatte ich immer einen Ansprechpartner sei es für das Spanisch, die Unterkunft die Freizeit oder sonstige Wünsche. In der freien Zeit besuchten wir gemeinsam die unterschiedlichen Strände, die Hauptstadt, die Lagune und auch ein Museum. An Freizeitaktivitäten fehlte es nie: ich nahm regelmäßige Surfstunden, machte Wanderungen und Standup paddeln. Yelitza und Adriana, meine Gastmütter, nahmen mich an den Wochenenden mit zu ihrem Strandhaus nach Guayacancito mit, wo wir viel Meeresfrüchte mit Arepas und alle möglichen Fischarten zubereitet haben und anschließend in den Hängematten uns über dies und jenes unterhalten haben oder auch die Ruhe genossen haben. Die Dorfbewohner dort sind sehr interessierte und symphatische Menschen, ich habe mich bei ihnen mit ihrer herzlichen Art sehr wohlgefühlt. In Yelitzas und Adrianas Familienkreise gab es außerdem einige Feste zu feiern (Geburtstage, Muttertag, Besuche) , so hab ich einen besonderen Einblick in die Traditionen und das Familienleben bekommen.

Auf Margarita gibt es auch einige Diskotheken und verschiedenste Bars in denen ich mit den anderen Schülern manche späte Abende verbracht habe. Aus Sicherheitsgründen haben wir immer zur Rückfahrt ein Taxi genommen. Da ich aber im Allgemeinen die wenigen zwielichten Gegenden gemieden habe und aufmerksamer durch die Straßen ging, gab es keine Zwischenfälle keinen Überfall und habe mich sicher gefühlt. Darüber hinaus wissen die Familien und natürlich Sabina auf was man achten sollte dass man seinen Sprachurlaub unbeschwert genießen kann. Letztendlich ist es ein anderes Land mit anderen geschriebenen und ungeschriebenen Gesetzen und daher war ich sehr froh um das Wissen das mir Sabina und die Familie mir vermittelt haben.
Sabina hat eine eine besonders aufmerksame, emphatische wie wohlwollende Ader und ist dazu sehr organisiert. So konnte ich rasch ein gutes Spanischniveau entwickeln und zugleich einen schönen Urlaub verbringen.

Zur Verpflegung gibt es auch noch einige Worte : mir persönlich hat die typisch venezolanische Küche mit karibischem Beigeschmack sehr geschmeckt : Frühstück und Abendessen waren immer sehr vielfältig und häufig gab es ganze Menüs mit Kochbananen frischem Gemüse Reis und Fisch / Fleisch auf allen möglichen Arten zubereitet. An die Auberginenlasagne den Käsekuchen wie Pfannkuchen mit Ziegenkäse oder auch die Obstsäfte kann ich mich noch sehr gut erinnern... Mittags gingen wir in Restaurants oder manchmal wurde auch in der Schule reich gekocht!
Letztendes bin ich sehr positiv überrascht worden mit der schönen Unterkunft, den Angeboten, der reichen Küche, die Unterstützung, dem zuverlässigen Transfer die Flexibilität und die viele Zeit die für mich aufgebracht wurde !mil gracias!

Vacaciones formativas

Unos colegas me recomendaron la escuela de español CELA en la Isla Margarita. Entonces escribí un e-mail a la señora Sabine Loeffler para matricularme en un curso de español. Todo el contacto era muy profesional y amable. Recibí todas las informaciones sobre el horario, los gastos, el alojamiento y las actividades muy pronto.

Cuando llegué la señora Loeffler me recogió del aeropuerto y condujo a la familia. Yo tenía un poco de conocimientos de español y entonces hablábamos en español desde el comienzo.  Viví con una familia local que era muy amable y simpática.

Cada mañana durante la semana me recogió Sabine de mi casa y me llevó a la escuela.

Las clases eran perfectas para mí. Sabine modificó el nivel para que yo tenga una buena base para mejorar mi español. Todas mis partes españolas en mi cerebro se reactivaron en corto tiempo. Las clases fueron profesionales  y con mucho humor, una atmósfera muy buena.

Después de las clases tenía la opción de hacer excursiones. Fuimos a la capital, la Asunción, caminamos por las montañas con un guía local y  paseamos en una barca por el parque nacional de la Restinga. También visitamos algunas de las playas bellísimas que ofrece la isla. Sabine conoce todos los lugares interesantes y bonitos de toda la isla y por eso puede enseñar la isla desde una perspectiva única.

Solo tuve dos semanas, pero durante este tiempo me sentía muy confortable y disfruté todos los días junto con Sabine,  las profesoras y la familia. Gracias por estas experiencias.

Espanhol na CELA: a melhor escolha

 Estudar espanhol, em pleno Caribe, na ilha de Margarita, foi melhor do que eu imaginava. Expectativas superadas. Particularmente, precisava de atenção especial por dois motivos: por ser jornalista e por ter, como língua nativa, o português. Como jornalista, preciso do espanhol para trabalho. Já por falar o português, tenho necessidades diferentes de um nativo de língua inglesa ou alemã, por exemplo. São necessidades próprias pela relação que há entre o português e o espanhol.

Considerando esses dois quesitos, a Escola me ofereceu aulas exclusivas. Havia um professor focado em meu aprendizado.

Depois de um tempo, comecei a estudar com um suíço, mas já tinha uma certa compreensão das diferenças entre a língua que domino e a que estava aprendendo. Já não me era tão confuso entender que “oficina” é “escritório” e que “taller” é “oficina”.

Nos primeiros dias, me lembro de ter rido sozinho quando soube que “canhoto” era “zordo”, que se pronuncia “sordo”, quase como “surdo”. Imaginei um canhoto dizendo: “Soy zordo”. Problemas de um iniciante.

Gentilmente, Sabine e Nataly foram me ajudando com os falsos cognatos e esclarecendo estas situações. No começo, para nós, falantes do português, é confuso.

O aprendizado não se dava apenas em sala de aula. O idioma também era ensinado nas excursões e na preparação de pratos típicos. Aprendia a cultura local e o espanhol simultaneamente. Formas recreativas de ensino que me ajudaram muito.

Em relação a moradia, optei por uma casa de família: a casa da Magda. Confesso que me apeguei muito a ela. Hoje, a chamo de mamá. Mamãe em espanhol. Extremamente educada, carinhosa, dedicada e ilustre cozinheira. Mesmo após retornar ao Brasil tenho contato com ela. Sinto a sua falta. Não é todo dia que encontramos pessoas tão queridas e amáveis como mamá.

O quarto em que fiquei era grande, tinha ar-condicionado, frigobar e suíte. Encontrei o mesmo em outros países, mas com preços superiores.

O Caribe não tem a sua fama à toa. Foi pelo fato de a Escola estar lá que a escolhi entre as várias em que pesquisei. Mas, hoje, refletindo sobre toda minha experiência, pelas aulas que tive e pela forma como fui tratado, tenho motivos a mais para apreciar o Caribe. Em nenhum momento eu me arrependi de ter escolhido a CELA. Muito pelo contrário. Fiz a melhor escolha. Tanto que, ainda hoje, faço aulas por vídeoconferência com a Escola.

Aulas de espanhol na ilha Margarita

Liebe Sabine,

vielen Dank für die schöne und lehrreiche Zeit die ich bei dir verbringen durfte.

Dein super Engagement hat es ermöglicht, von der Vorbereitung über die Anreise den Aufenthalt und die Heimreise, eine sorgenfreie Zeit genießen zu können. Alles in Allem unkompliziert, unbürokratisch, entspannt und sicher.

Der Aufenthalt in der Gastfamilie war toll. Sauberes Zimmer mit Klima Bad und TV in einer schönen Wohnanlage und Adriana und Yeliza waren herzliche Gastgeber.

Einen besonderen Dank möchte ich auch an die zwei Lehrerinnen Nataly und Patrica richten. Besonders Nati hat eine tolle Art den Unterricht unterhaltsam, lehrreich und interessant zu gestalten.

Die Exkursionen an die Strände, in die Stadt oder auf die Insel Coche waren alle einmalig und nicht im üblichen Touristenstyl auf diese Art konnte man auch etwas über Land und Leute erfahren und landestypische Speisen probieren.

Ein High Light war der Kite Kurs bei Venturi Kitecenter. Otto hat sich alle Mühe gegeben mich Sportskanone aufs Brett zu stellen……nun beim nächsten Besuch machen wir es perfekt J

Spanisch Lernen auf der Isla Margarita Venezuela

4 wochen sind wie im Flug vergangen und ich wollte kurz ein paar Zeilen über Margaritha und die Schule schreiben. Meine Zeit hier auf Margaritha war gesäumt von interessanten Begegnungen, schönen Stränden, tollem Essen, einer stressfreien Zeit und vielen neuen Eindrücken. Das ich dies so erleben konnte, verdanke ich größtenteils der Schule und meiner Gastfamilie. Die Schule organisierte viele Exkursionen um die meisten Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten der insel kennenzulernen. Zusätzlich war die Schule in person von sabina( sabine Löffler) immer für jeden da wenn es Probleme oder Fragen gab. Wäsche waschen, aber wo - kein Problem - Sabina hilft, Reise organisieren zu anderen Ausflugszielen venezuelas - kein Problem - sabina hilft, ein Taxi wird gebraucht für einen Ausflug am Wochenende oder zum Flughafen - kein Problem - Sabina hilft. Jedes noch so kleine Problemchen wurde angegangen und gelöst. in der Schule herrscht eine familiär Athmosphäre. Die Lehrer, soweit ich das beurteilen kann, sind sehr gut und ich habe mich in meiner Zeit auf Margaritha wirklich sprachlich verbessert. Es wird auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Schüler eingegangen und ebenfalls wird nicht das Leistungsniveau eines jeden einzelnen übergangen. Dadurch konnte ich in kurzer Zeitviel lernen und mich deutlich verbessern. Kurz um, es waren tolle 4 Wochen, die ich jederzeit wieder machen würde. Anfangs war ich skeptisch wegen Venezuela aber das hat sich komplett gelegt. es ist super sicher auf der Insel, die Strände sind atemberaubend, die Menschen oder Margarithenos sind freundlich und das Essen ist Klasse. Definitiv eine Urlaubsreise wert.

time flys. 4 weeks already passed and I wanted to drop a few lines about margaritha, the language school and my impressions. In my time on margaritha I met interesting people, was on amazing beaches, had awesome food and a time without hectic and stress. mainly because of the language school and my host family i had the possibility to get all this impressions. the school organized many trips to different beaches and the main interesting places on the island. in additional the school in person of sabina (sabine Löffler) was there for everyone to solve little or not so little problems or answered questions. where i can wash my cloths - no problem sabina knows it and helps, i want to do a trip in venezuela - no problem - sabina helps, a taxi is needed for a trip on the weekend or to the airport - sabina helps. the school itsself has a familiar athmosphere. out of my point of view, the teachers are pretty good and i really improved myself during the time in margaritha. furthermore the teachers include the individual needs of everyone in the lessons. likewise the proficiency level of every student will be mentioned. therefore it was easy for me to improve myself in a short period of time. overall i had fantastic 4 weeks, which I would do again. in the beginning i was a bit doubtfull because of venezuela but that is not the case anymore and honestly I never had have this feeling during my vacations. it is very very safe on the island, the beaches are fantastic, the people or margarithenos are friendly and the food is outstanding. definitive a holiday plae to go

tiempo paso muy rapido. Estaba 4 semanas a margarita y quieria escribir un poquito de la escuela en margarita y margarita. tenia un tiempo muy agradable en margarita. me encontre con personas interesantes, visitaba playas lindas, tenia comidas cheveres, un tiempo sin stress y muchas impresiones nuevas. que podria hacer todo las causas por que la escuela y mi familia local me ayudaron. La escuela organizaba muchas excursiones a playas diferente y otras lugaciones de margarita. Ademas la escuela en persona de Sabina (Sabine Loeffler) ayudaba por siempres problemas y respondía a todo preguntas. tenias limpiar sus ropas-no te preocupes - sabina te ayuda, tenias organizar viajes a otras lugaciones - no te preocupes-sabina te ayuda, necesitaste un taxi por un trip a fin de semana o al aeropuerto -no te preocupes- sabina te ayuda. hay todo una solucion. a la escuela es un athmosphere muy amable y tranquillo. las profesoras de la escuela son muy bien y mejoré mucho el lengua a mi tiempo de margarita. gracias para Nathalie, Patricia y Sabina. las profesoras hicieron programas individuales para el nivel de cada estudiante. por eso causa podria mejorar mucho en minimo tiempo. todo en todos era 4 semanas muy fantastica. no sabía hace 4 semanas  si iría a margarita por que el pais Venezuela.pero puedo decir ahora Venezuela y especialmente margarita es muy seguro, las playas estan impresionante, la gente o los margaritenos son muy amable y la comida es deliciosa. viajaria otra vez de margarita sin dudas.

Año nuevo, lengua nueva

Para mi Cela no  es solamente escuela para estudiar espanol, pero tu
hogar donde cada la semana tu encuntras y conoces amigos nuevos del
todo el mundo y donde tus profesores no solo profesores pero tus
amigos tambien! Gracias a Cela y su profesores para capasidad  despues
de 4 meses estudiar otras cosas en espanol y no tener miedo tratar de
expresarme en idioma nueva! Ahora estoy viviendo en la Isla, lugar
lleno de cosas increibles y bonitas, disfrutando la naturaleza,
playas, frutas y flores durante todo el ano!
Y gracias a comida venezolana que todavia no extrano comida rusa :)
Estoy feliz a recomendar ese lugar tan chevere y agradable!

Для меня Cela не только место для изучения испанского, но и дом в
котором каждую неделю ты встречаешь новых друзей со всего света, и где
учителя не только учителя, но также твои друзья, которые помогут тебе
в любой ситуации.
Спасибо Cela за возможность изучать другие предметы на испанском, и не
бояться выражать себя в новом для меня языке, уже после 4х месяцев
занятий!
Сейчас я живу на острове, в месте полном потрясающих и интересных
вещей, наслаждаясь фруктами, пляжами и цветами круглый год!
Спасибо также венесуэльской еде, которая не дает мне соскучится по русской :)

Bildungsurlaub auf der Isla Margarita

Hola,

ich heisse Sebastian, aus Deutschland (Thueringen) und war vom 02.06.-09.06.2014, auf der wunderschoenen "Isla De Margarita"/Venezuela, bei der Cela Spanischschule, um mir einige Grundlagen in Spanisch anzueignen. Die Tage in der Schule konnte ich auch ueber Bildungsurlaub abwickeln, da die Kurse auch in Deutschland anerkannt sind ;).

Die Direktorin Dr. Sabine Loeffler, war mir von Anfang an bis zur letzten Minute meines Aufenthalts auf

Margarita eine riesen Hilfe und hat die ganze Zeit dort somit noch schoener gestaltet :).

Untergebracht war ich bei einer Gastfamilie, gleich um die Ecke zur Schule, was auch sehr gut

und problemlos organisiert war. Meine Gastmutter Maria und ihre Tochter Gabriela  haben mich immer "super" bekocht und mir auch ueberall geholfen ;).

Die Schule liegt recht gemuetlich, meine Lehrerin Walewska hat sich immer viel Muehe gegeben mir alles

zu erklaeren. Und die Haus und Hof Gatos Susi und Patrick sind auch ganz lieb :).

Sabine hat mir auch viele wunderschoene Touren organisiert, mit dennen ich in fast 2 Wochen wahrscheinlich mehr von Margarita gesehen habe wie mancher Einheimische :).

Auch die Leute im allgemeinen sind hier auf der Insel alle nett und freundlich und die Straende gehoeren zu den schoensten die ich je gesehen habe :).

Also als Fazit, ein Besuch von Margarita und natuerlich der Cela Spanisch Schule lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ;)...!

Español y sol

Depués de 6 semanas en la escuela de Español CELA, solo la puedo recomendar. Tuve unas semanas muy agradable, las familias, los profesores y Sabina siempre hacen lo maximo para que todo se pase bien. Todas las semanas hay 3 excurciones que permiten a todos los alumnos de conocer las maravillosas playas de la Isla Margarita. Para cualquier estudiante será una experiencia inolvidable. La escuela está en una zona muy tranquila y muy segura. Normalmente las familias viven muy cerca y los alumnos pueden caminar hasta la escuela. Los fines de semana siempre hay mucho que hacer, excurciones en la Isla Margarita,  pero también en otras Isla. En la escuela todo el mundo es como parte de una familia en la que todo el mundo está bienvenido!


Après avoir passé 6 semaines  dans l'école d'espagnol CELA, je ne peux que la recommander!  J'ai eu un excellent séjour et cela grâce aux familles d'accueil,  aux professeurs et à Sabina,  la directrice qui donne le meilleur afin que tout se passe bien. Chaque semaine il y a 3 excursions qui permettent aux étudiants de connaître les merveilleuses plages de l'île de Margarita.  L'école est située dans une zone tranquille et très sûre!  Normalement les familles d'accueil vivent très près de celle-ci, permettant ainsi aux étudiants de se rendre à l'école en 5 minutes à pied. Durant les weekends, il y a beaucoup d'activités possibles sur l'île elle même,  mais également sur les petites îles voisines.  Dans cette école tout le monde fait parti d'une petite famille et tout le monde est bienvenu!  

Spanisch ganz schnell

Wer Spanisch ganz schnell lernen möchte ist bei CELA genau richtig. Hier lernt man in kürzester Zeit sich in der Landessprache zu verständigen. Die Lehrer sind sehr sympathisch und kompetent. Es gibt keinen typischen Lernstress wie man ihn aus der Schulzeit kennt, sondern alles ist sehr entspannt und mit viel Spaß verbunden. Auch die Grammatik kommt nicht zu kurz und wird an Hand von vielen Übungen leicht verstanden. Unterrichtet wird anfangs in Englisch und später in Spanisch. Nach der Schule sind an 3 Tagen der Woche Ausflüge geplant an die schönsten Strände der Insel, sowie am Wochenende gibt es die Möglichkeit spezielle Exkursionen zu buchen. Mir persönlich gefiel das sehr, da man so auch die andern Schüler besser kennenlernt und viel gemeinsam unternehmen kann und Spaß hat. Natürlich ist es einem freigestellt ob man an den Ausflügen teilnimmt, aber ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ein Lob an Sabina, die für alle Belange ein offenes Ohr hat bzw. alles möglich macht das man sich wie zu Hause fühlt.

Eine neue Erfahrung war es für mich bei einer Gastfamilie zu wohnen. Man kann das erlernte vom ersten Tag an gleich anwenden und verliert so die Hemmungen frei zu sprechen. Meine Gasteltern waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten viel Spaß zusammen und ich vermisse sie, besonders das venezolanische Essen.

Ein Highlight war für mich die Weihnachtszeit, wo wir zusammen in der Schule die nationale Spezialität "Hallaka" zubereitet haben. Mit Ponche de Crema und unserem selbstgemachten Hallaka haben wir die vorweihnachtlich Zeit eingeläutet. Auch Silvester hat CELA den Schultag zu etwas besonderen gemacht und uns die venezolanischen Silvestertraditionen nahe gebracht.

In meiner Gastfamilie gab es große Feste, wo alle Familienmitglieder zusammen kamen, um Weihnachten miteinander zu verbringen. Es war sehr herzergreifend zu erleben wie die Venezolaner die Weihnachtszeit und den Jahreswechsel zelebrieren. Erlebnisse die ich nie vergessen werde.

Es war für mich eine sehr schöne Erfahrung so herzlich aufgenommen zu werden. Ich denke sehr oft an diese wirklich schöne Zeit zurück. Die dreieinhalb Wochen waren viel zu schnell um und der Abschied viel schwer. Man gewöhnt sich eben schnell an die relaxte Lebensweise Südamerikas.

Wer etwas einzigartiges erleben möchte, trifft mit CELA die richtige Wahl.

My experience at CELA

I can't say enough about my experience with CELA. Sabina and the teaching faculty are incredible instructors in addition to being just outright good people. I felt I had all of the personal attention I could ask for and my classes were extremely instructive while being entirely entertaining. My instructor, Silvia, could definitely moonlight as a stand up comedian if she wanted to. Oh some of my best laughs ever were in CELA's classrooms. I worried a lot about Venezuela's current political turmoil and safety concerns, but I can say confidently that I felt safe on the Isla de Margarita in general, in my home with Yelitza y Adriana, and in the school. CELA is a great school with top notch people. I look forward to staying in contact with everyone. Un Abrazo!

CELA worked with me to arrange a medical preceptorship in a local clinic and the experience was entirely unforgettable. I saw patients alongside the local physicians and was immediately accepted as a part of the team. I will never forget the staff at La Clinica Espinal or CELA for arranging the experience! I couldn't have asked for more.
